Helen McBryer
Director of Healthcare
Helen first qualified as a General Nurse in 1997, and transferred her clinical skills to work in the commercial setting. This led her into her first position within Medical Recruitment, where she joined one of the most established Consultancies in the Pharmaceutical and Commercial Healthcare environment.
Having progressed into a General Management position, she left the company in 2000 to set up her own company specialising in Medical Devices and Commercial Nursing positions where she worked successfully for a number of Private Healthcare providers, including prestigious Cosmetic Surgery Groups.
Helen joined ARC at the beginning of 2008, having spent some time Returning to Clinical Practice and obtaining current NMC Registration. With a view to working towards the RCN accredited qualification in Aesthetic Nursing, Helen has a keen interest in the field of Aesthetic Medicine.
John Sellers
Managing Director: ARC Consulting
John is the Founding Director and Owner of the ARC Group, and has worked within the Business Sectors related to Insurance / Financial Services, Corporate Social Responsibility and Healthcare.
ARC has been established since 2001 and John has selected a team of expert recruitment consultants who have relevant experience and practice within each division in which the company operates.
Having studied the rapid growth within the field of Aesthetic Medicine, John has added Aesthetic Professionals to the ARC portfolio and looks forward to guiding his team towards being the Recruitment company of choice in this business sector.
Sally Newman
Lead Consultant - Aesthetic Division
Sally has worked in Recruitment since 2006, initially working for a high-street Recruitment Company before joining ARC in early 2008. Prior to working in the recruitment industry Sally worked for AXA PPP in their Occupational Health Department in a Customer Service capacity, looking after many Blue Chip Companies; liaising with Human Resources to ensure the best possible service and tracking of employee's rehabilitation into the workplace and pre-employment health requirements . Sally decided on a change in career after becoming interested in providing recruitment solutions for Human Resources Departments.
As Senior Consultant at ARC, Sally has a varied role and enjoys building relationships with both Clients and Candidates. Always honest and dependable, Sally prides herself on ethical recruitment practice in line with the REC guidelines and finds this approach proves both beneficial for business and enables her to establish strong Client and Candidate relationships.
Sally is currently studying for her Certificate in Recruitment Practice through the Recruitment and Employment Confederation.
Katey Smith
Office Manager
Katey previously managed a team of six working for an IT support company designing Websites, implementing and running training courses as well as coordinating sales. Katey comes to ARC having worked in Medical Recruitment alongside Helen McBryer.
As the manager of the ARC premises Katey works alongside the team co-ordinating interviews, scheduling meetings and oversees our attendance at exhibitions and conferences. Katey can be contacted for any enquiries and applications, and co-ordinates with ARC's Consultants in order to provide you with the best possible service.
Katey is currently on maternity leave having recently become a full time Mum to Finley.
Joanne Smith
Office Manager
Jo is covering maternity leave for Katey. She joined us in June having returned from living in Vancouver, Canada for the last 6 years, where she travelled, studied Photography and Web Design as well as becoming a certified PADI diver and accomplished Snowboarder.
Jo previously worked for one of the top ten, Blue Chip Fragrance houses based in the South of France, specialising in the fine fragrance and high-end cosmetic toiletries sector. Her responsibilities included concept research, as well as the coordination of the fragrance department.
