Patient Coordinator
Our client, a highly regarded eye surgery clinic, is looking for a Patient Coordinator to join their team.
Your roleYour role is to manage the patient journey from start to finish, ensuring that each patient receives an excellent standard of care and customer service throughout.
You will spend time with potential patients at private consultations, discussing procedures, options and costs, and booking patients in for treatment programmes. You will keep in touch with potential patients, following up after initial meetings, then ensuring that new patients receive the support they need. Once treatment begins, you will monitor processes to check that patients receive the correct care and can intervene if any issues occur.
You will manage patient administration, ensuring that records are always accurate and up to date, and you will ensure that all activities are carried out in line with the clinic’s protocols, and regulatory guidelines.
The skills and experience you need to applyWe are looking for someone who is mature, professional, and will excel at customer service.
As you will work to targets for converting enquiries into bookings, you will need to have commercial awareness and be driven to meet sales targets, but you must be able to balance this with tact and diplomacy.
We are also looking for:
- Experience dealing with private healthcare patients
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience of working towards and hitting sales targets
