Patient Bookings Team Leader


Our client, a high-profile aesthetics practice, is looking for a Team Leader to help coordinate the efforts of the clinic bookings team.

Your role

You will coordinate the reception and patient bookings team, who deal with telephone enquiries from patients and convert enquiries into booked consultations. You will also act as a patient advisor yourself and take an active role in the team.

As team leader, you will help your team prioritise calls and deal with their workload efficiently. You will ensure that the standard of customer service remains at an excellent standard, and that the team follow company processes and protocols. You will also supervise the diarised bookings for practitioners, regularly communicating with practitioners to update availability, and managing diaries to maximise occupancy.

You will liaise with other members of the clinic team to learn new initiatives to promote treatments to patients and you will liaise with clinicians to make sure all treatments are fully understood.

As a member of the reception and patient bookings team, you will be responsible for answering telephone enquiries, making bookings for patients, answering questions relating to the clinic treatments as appropriate, and confirming patient appointments.

You will also help with day-to-day reception duties, including greeting patients, ensuring correct paperwork has been completed and patient files are ready for the practitioner, taking payment, and making further appointments.

Skills and experience required


You must have experience of working in a comparable role in a private medical clinic or high-end spa. You must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to promote treatments and services in an appropriate manner for an exclusive clinic.

You should have good knowledge of non-surgical cosmetic procedures, and the drive to hit clinic targets for patient satisfaction and repeat bookings.
