Medical Equipment Sales Representative

A supplier of innovative medical devices and diagnostic equipment is now looking for an experienced Sales Representative to promote their range of cardiology and physiotherapy devices in the North of England.

Your role

You will visit potential customers in your territory, demonstrating the company’s devices and winning new business. Your portfolio will include cardiology devices (such as ECGs) and physiotherapy devices, including shockwave and magnetic field technologies. Your customer base will include cardiologists and physiotherapists, private hospitals and clinics.

As an experienced field sales representative, you will use your sales skills and your knowledge of the medical industry to build a network of contacts, and identify and convert leads. You will manage your own accounts, maintaining relationships with your existing clients to ensure that they remain as long-term customers.

You will track your progress and compile reports for senior management, providing key information for forecasting, and provision of client training and support.

You will attend trade shows and events, helping to promote the range of products and collect business leads. You will also keep up-to-date with market developments and competitors, to inform the company sales and marketing strategies.

Skills and experience required

To be successful in your application, you must have experience of working in medical capital equipment sales. As you will be promoting the devices to medical specialists, you must have the ability to understand and communicate complex technical information accurately, and answer queries from potential clients.

You should also have:

  • Experience selling high-value capital equipment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • At least three years of field sales experience, with a record of success
  • A full clean driving license and flexibility
  • Good IT and admin skills
