Clinic Manager


Our client, an industry-leading, specialist private healthcare clinic, is looking for a Clinic Manager to lead the team at their London clinic.

Your role

You will help the company deliver clinical excellence, maintain the high standard of patient service and boost staff performance.

You will ensure that the clinic environment and facilities, and treatments and services, all meet regulatory guidelines and company protocols. Managing processes, you will assess current practices and performance and ensure that staff, facilities and equipment are being utilised efficiently, implementing new methods where necessary.

You will oversee recruitment, training and development, and ensure that staff members are fully equipped with the skills and learning needed to perform their roles. You will monitor staff performance, providing feedback, guidance, motivation, and reward where appropriate. You will also assess where performance is not adequate, and deal with any disciplinary processes.

You will coordinate the efforts of the clinical and non-clinical teams to ensure that every patient journey runs smoothly, and the clinic excels on patient experience. You will deal with any patient complaints that arise, and you monitor patient satisfaction rates.

You will monitor clinic targets and will help drive business growth by ensuring that team and clinic goals are met or exceeded. You will ensure that budgets are managed effectively, and projects are delivered on time and on budget.

As part of the management team, you will also regularly report on the clinic team’s progress, take part in management meetings and contribute to clinic strategy, and you will represent the company at events.


Skills and experience required

You must have at least five years of experience managing teams and facilities in a private healthcare setting.

You must have good knowledge of the CQC and clinical standards, good commercial awareness gained from managing a commercial healthcare practice, and the drive to deliver an excellent service to patients.

You will be managing a multidisciplinary team, so you will need to be mature, professional, and a strong, inspiring leader.
