Business Development Manager (aesthetic devices)

A rare opportunity has arisen to join the sales team for a global supplier of highly regarded aesthetic devices. We are looking for an ambitious, talented and experienced Business Development Manager to manage the Midlands territory.

The role

You will use your knowledge of the aesthetic devices market to plan and manage your territory. You will identify potential customers in your region, present the company’s highly regarded equipment to senior medical professionals and business owners, and establish new relationships and win new business.

You will visit potential customers, demonstrate the devices, advise on the practical applications, and use your commercial acumen and knowledge of the industry to advise clients on how the devices will help increase treatment bookings and positive patient feedback.

You will manage the sales process from researching potential customers through to order processing, and subsequent customer service, managing your own sales plan and providing reports to management.
You will manage your own accounts, maintaining relationships with your clients so that they are retained as long-term customers.

You will not only act as a sales agent; you will also educate your customers on usage and safety for each device and organise regional training. You will provide an excellent standard of customer service, ensuring that clients receive all the support and product training needed, orders are processed efficiently, and any issues are dealt with swiftly.

The requirements

  • B2B field sales experience, with a proven record of success in medical or aesthetic product sales
  • You must be personable and proactive, with the ability to win new business and develop long-term client relationships
  • Good knowledge of aesthetic medical procedures and surgical techniques
  • Good knowledge of the sales process for high-value capital equipment
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Exemplary sales management and administration skills
  • A full clean driving license
