Account Development Manager (North)


Our client, a global supplier of high-value aesthetic medical devices, is looking for an Account Development Manager for the north of England territory.

Your role


You will act as a field-based account manager for clients across your region who are users of the company’s high-value aesthetic devices. Primarily a commercial role, you will visit aesthetic practices, planning and implementing activities that help develop and retain accounts, and contribute to the achievement of sales and device utilisation targets.

As part of the field sales team, you will be targeted on your own sales, with your focus being on the company’s consumables. You will develop close relationships with customers so you can identify opportunities and drive sales of consumables.

You will organise all clinical training for customers, and you will oversee customer training plans to ensure that training provided is fitting for the client’s needs. You will provide non-clinical training yourself, performing presentations on the use of devices, and advising on how treatments can be integrated into the clinic’s offering, and promoted to the clinic’s customer base. You will work closely with current clients to educate them on safety, appropriate applications, treatment marketing, and achieving customer satisfaction.

You will use your commercial acumen and knowledge of the industry to advise clients on how to increase treatment bookings and positive customer feedback. Your sales and marketing training for clients will include digital marketing, branding, targeted campaigns, and in-clinic promotion. Your activities will ensure that customers make the most of their devices, and boost their clinic profits with increased treatment bookings.

By providing an excellent standard of customer service and identifying additional sales and training opportunities, you will achieve sales and utilisation targets for your territory. Communicating regularly with the field-based sales team, marketing, and customer support teams, and the sales manager, you will also share information and provide regular progress reports.

Skills and experience required

For your application to be considered, you will need to have over two years of B2B medical sales experience, and a thorough understanding of the aesthetics marketplace. Ideally, you will have recent experience of selling aesthetic medical devices or consumables to private clinics. You must be able to demonstrate your understanding of how a private clinical business operates, and how certain treatments can be used to boost revenue.

We are looking for a confident and proactive individual with a positive attitude, excellent commercial acumen and customer service skills. As you will be working closely with a range of clients, including senior medical professionals, business owners, and high-profile surgeons and dermatologists, you must be a skilled communicator who is adept at building relationships.
